Welcome to GVSU School of Criminology, Criminal Justice, and 法律研究. As part of the College of Education and Community Innovation at Grand Valley State University we are focused on increasing the understanding of justice based issues for students, 从业人员, policymakers and community members. The School of Criminology, Criminal Justice, and 法律研究 offers undergraduate degree programs in criminology, criminal justice and legal studies; graduate degree in criminal justice; special certification program in our police academy and military basic training academy; paralegal studies certificate.
The School of Criminology, Criminal Justice, and 法律研究 教师 consists of full-time 教师 和兼职 adjunct 教师 members providing local, 区域, 国家, and global perspectives of crime and justice issues in the classroom and through their scholarship.

The Kimboko Inclusion Award recognizes 教师 who have made significant contributions in outstanding teaching, distinctive scholarship or creative work, or noteworthy service in moving GVSU graduate education toward being a more diverse and inclusive.
This fall, Terrell and Matt Rogers, both GVSU criminal justice students, became the first from their program to intern at Covenant House Academy 大急流城 (CHAGR).

Kathryn was awarded the Academic Excellence In A Degree Program Citation from the Graduate School.
Dr. Brian Johnson, Professor in the School of Criminology, Criminal Justice, and 法律研究, accompanied his CJ 325 Human Rights classes to Chicago to volunteer for Day of Dignity with the Chicago Refugee Coalition.
